1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your general use of the Lita Stays platform, operated by Lita Stays Ltd (Company No. 16743040), registered in England and Wales ("Lita Stays", "we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using our services you agree to be bound by these Terms. Separate booking-specific terms apply to hosts and guests, and will be provided when creating an account and/or when accepting or requesting a booking. In the event of a conflict, the booking-specific terms prevail for matters relating to that booking.
2. Our services
Lita Stays provides an online platform connecting contractors, workforce professionals, and corporate clients with serviced accommodation across the United Kingdom. We act as a facilitator between guests and hosts and are not responsible for the condition or suitability of any listed property.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at info@litastays.com.
4. Bookings and payments
All bookings are subject to host availability and confirmation. Lita Stays charges a commission of 10% (plus VAT where applicable) on the gross value of any booking secured through the platform or arranged by referral on behalf of a host, payable by the host. Cancellation terms vary by listing and will be displayed prior to booking confirmation.
5. Host obligations
Hosts listed on the platform agree to maintain all required safety certifications including EPC, EICR, and gas safety certificates. Lita Stays reserves the right to suspend listings that do not meet compliance requirements.
6. Stay and Support initiative
Lita Stays donates a percentage of qualifying booking values to partner community organisations including Sheerhatch Primary School, Bedford. Donations are calculated as 15% of net commission on bookings arranged through Lita Stays, and 5% of net profit on direct bookings at Lita Stays managed properties.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, submit false information, or use Lita Stays services for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in breach of these Terms without notice.
8. Intellectual property
All content, branding, and materials on the Lita Stays platform remain the intellectual property of Lita Stays Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lita Stays shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the booking giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform following notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version is always available at www.litastays.com.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
